Head to the East Brunswick Elks for a night of great music.
The band, Amber Blues, will be hosting a party that includes music, dancing, food and drink and, hopefully, a lot of great memories.
Throughout the night you'll be able to rock to the music of Amber Blues, their students and other performers.
The show begins at 7:30 at the Elks, 21 Oakmont, East Brunswick. Admission is $5.
According to the band’s web site, www.amberblues.com, "Amber Blues was formed in February 2003 by guitarist Jimmy Clark and bassist Dave Brumberg. Lead Singer and keyboardist Tarek Ismail joined in the winter of 2005.The band went through more than a dozen personnel changes in a two-year period before becoming the "official" Amber Blues line-up in the summer of 2008. Drummer Brian Krutzel, was the last member to join Amber Blues.
"Since then, Amber Blues has developed a solid, focused and motivated unit. Each member works with the other towards a common goal, which is to be the most original and efficient group possible.
"The members of Amber Blues attribute their unique chemistry to the fact that they are a multicultural unit. Each of one of them brings cultural and spiritual individuality to the group dynamic. Tarek (Islam), Dave and Brian (Jewish) and Jimmy (Pagan) embrace the concept of Interfaith. The group credits their ethnic and religious diversity as being the driving force behind their creative drive and unique sound."
