Alan Veingrad may be the only former NFL player in history to become a Torah-observant Orthodox Jew. On sunday, Veingrad, a former NFL offensive lineman with the Green Bay Packers and a member of the Super Bowl XXVII Champion Dallas Cowboys, shared his story during a visit to Young Israel of East Brunswick. The event was presented by Torah Links of Middlesex County.
Veingrad has appeared on NBC, NPR, JM in the AM, as well as spotlighted in The New York Times, New York Post, The Dallas Morning News and The Miami Herald.
