Any info on royal oaks power? Is it back yet?

I had signed for water for drinking if power is out more then 24 hours, Daaa . I have not seen or heard of any facilities that are dispensing water. Millstone is a town of wells, no power no water.

Our power came on Tuesday morning then was off after an hr the people across the street have power -___- I have yet to see one PSE&G truck in my area.....

Thank you John for putting that in perspective. People have died, homes and businesses lost and towns demolished and those of us with no personal damage still complain about no power for a few days. Times like these should make us thankful for what we have and not lash out at the power company.

Any updates on when power will be retored in East Brunswick? I went out of town Sunday before the storm and was only able to get in touch with my wife for 2 minutes last night (Wednesday) through the cell phone on her dying cell phone battery. Fortunately my basement wasn't flooded.

PSE&G isn't giving a time table yet, but power is being restored in a few areas. What neighborhood/road? I'll see what I can find out

What bothers me is once again no information is being shared. Please tell me pseg if my power is out because of a downed wire or our substation is flooded. Plus that tree down on wires on new road is still there. Not t touched once

On Milltown Rd. between Ryders and 18, the power went on last night at 1:15 AM. Then as I was outside attending to my extension cord, I heard an extremely loud buzzing sound in the neighborhood, followed by another buzzing sound and a giant blue flash down the street. The power was out again. I'm guessing when they put the power on over here, another transformer completely blew. I hope it didn't set them back too far. Glad to hear most people are doing well.

I have been Monitoring PSEG's progress on their Outage Map on the website but it gives little information, except for the fact that there are more than 10,000 reported outages from different cities in Middlesex county. Their latest tweet says "You will not be forgotten...we're working 24/7 to ensure our customers are restored. We appreciate your patience."

Now PSEG has changed the estimated date to November 9th

November 9th is INSANE. Are we living in the dark ages?. It's obvious pseg does not have enough workers. Where is fema? They should be helping

My only issue is there are sick people who can't tolerate the cold. Asthmatics and people with other pulmonary issues might die because of this delay. I'm not blaming the power companies, but they knew this was coming and after two power outages last year, they need a better plan for infrastructure. There are no hotels in the whole northern part of the state and most people can't put out a $100 a night to stay alive

Just wondering why so much of Woodbridge got power back and the Rahway ave /Thursday Ridgedale Ave cross streets are sill out. Lights are on all around us.

The school i teach in is closed until at least Monday. I'm off to Albany to stay with my brother in law. My cousins in Edison have power and didn't offer to let us over to at least shower and get some sleep. I'm ethnically cleansing them Facebook and not ever speaking to them again

Hey 7 out. My story tops yours. My brother bought a $1000 generator before the storm. His power never went out. But he gave the generator to a neighbor instead of us. Luckily a friend on facebook that I have not seen in 10 years let me borrow their generator since they never lost power.

Peteyl- don't worry, Colonia and other sections of Woodbridge lost power an hour ago. No idea why, of course.

Our families both suck! How did the one end of colonia lose power again. We didn't get it at all, but getting and losing it again sucks. We checked into a hotel in Albany. There was nothing on orbitz or hotels.com anywhere around nj. Funny thing was the massive gas lines ended once we got on the NY Thruway

We have no power since monday in dayton section i think we the public need a better plan we could be helping if we were mobilized. I was in jamesburg thurs and not one light on in homes nor businesses. I have no water damage, did not watch my car float away, I consider myself lucky. Help yourself and then your neighbor and then try to find out how you can HELP. Things will get better, Soon.

On Wednesday morning, while on a scouting trip for gas, I saw 10s of PSE&G trucks at the St. George Center, Shoprite, and then more in Tano Mall. Where they went, I don't know. I heard on 101.5 that over 150 transformers blew in the area before they shut down. Raritan Center and Joesph Heller Park is still without electricity mostly.
I guess it's a domino type puzzle. What has to be fixed before they can re energize the system.

Why is Pseg turning away non-union help? They turned away a crew from Alabama. So that crew is now helping long island instead. Just goes to show you they just care about their own interest and not the customer.

I'm in Elizabeth and I had power restored this morning and finally felt like things were getting better , then about 2:30 power went out again... I think their messing with us!!! No info on their web site, no body with updates no amswers..What got me really mad was that I called them at 3::00 and I got a message saying call back during out normal business hrs of 8am and 4:30pm... It's 3:00!!!!!! I don't live in the nicest neighborhood in the world and its just a matter if time before people start getting frustrated humgry and despreate and start taking matters into their own hands to get some attention . I have been goin to work, driving for gas and getting supplies and have yet to see 1 pse&g truck in my travels. I bet the president of pse&g isn't without power . Sorry ... Here at Cedar Village BLVD we can see the businesses across the street have had power for days, as have the traffic lights between us. We, however, do not. The same thing happened last time. Why is that? Does anyone know? Is our part of the network just that much harder to fix?
