Sound Off on Tonight's EBTV Candidate Debate
EBTV is holding a live debate between candidates for Township Council and mayor.
Get a closer look at this year’s candidates for Township Council and Mayor during a live debate on EBTV and sound off on the East Brunswick Patch while it’s happening.
EBTV will be holding two live candidate debates tonight Wednesday, Oct. 2, on Comcast Channel 3, and FiOS Channel 37. During the debates, comment here on this story and let us know what you think.
Each debate is being moderated by Dawn Clarke, vice president of Voter Service of the League of Women Voters.
East Brunswick Patch Editor John Saccenti and Sentinel reporter James McEvoy will be questioning the candidates.
Watch the council candidates, Incumbent Democrats Denise Contrino and Nancy Pinkin, as they square off live against Republican challengers Anthony Riccobono and Kermit Wade from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Mayor David Stahl will face off against Republican challenger Eugene DeMarzo during a live debate scheduled for 9 to 10 p.m. live.

If you don't mind, I'll weigh in now as to why this debate is being held on the same night as the Presidential debate? I'm sure the EB debate will be taped, and can be viewed at later times, but still, wouldn't our local participants rather be seeing the national debate? THAT would be a sign of involved politicians, don't you think? Thanks for listening.
