The VooDUDES brought their patented style of New Orleans funk, blues, boogie-woogie and honky-tonk (mixed together with with a pinch of Zydeco, Southern soul and Caribbean party music) to the Cultural Arts Center July 14.

The five piece band has been performing for over 20 years everywhere from Montreal to New Orleans to Florida and to Europe.  They have been featured in numerous festivals and have produced six CD’s. 

The VooDUDES are Dave Ambrosy on vocals and drums, Gary Ambrosy on vocals and guitar, Andy B on vocals, harmonica, percussion, and rubboard, Fred Saunders on bass and beads, and John Pittas on keys and accordion. 

The summer concert was sponsored by the Township of East Brunswick, Department of Recreation, Parks and Community Services.
