Biden won the debate. Ryan couldn't lie his way to victory like Mittney did like last week. What do you have to do to get an answer to any question posed to the Mittney/Ryan ticket? What loopholes are you going to cut? (crickets chirpping!!!)

@crazy world: either you were watching a different debate, or you seriously lack the ability to comprehend the spoken word. Ryan clearly layed out the plan on which loopholes would be cut. He said his plan lays out a framework which would look to cut ldeductions for income above 250k, and the details would be worked out in a bipartisan manner. The framework identifies the parameters in which the deductions would be cut. He also said mortgage deductions and other popular middle income deductions were off the table for those under 250k.

No one won the debate but Joe Biden sure did lose it based on his behavior.
And if you think Paul Ryan was avoiding answers, how about Biden? He avoided the very first question and went downhill from there.
As Paul Ryan mentioned, the Obama budget is just a speech. The Presiednt, VP, and Senate have been unable to produce a budget for 3 years. They are breaking the law.
Oh sure, but Paul Ryan is avoiding the questions.
Crazy world indeed!

Funny, I watched the reaction on Fox News, and all they talked about was Biden's interrupting. The ironic thing is, Biden did to Ryan, what Romney did to Obama. yet this time it is an outrage.
And lets face it, there are very very few people that are undecided at his point. These debates are red meat for the base.

I thought the moderator (Martha Raddatz of ABC news) did a great job.

I see nothing funny about the situation America is in,,Biden's laughter made me sick, not to mention the moderators husband is a member of the Obama administration and nothing is said. Pretty sad. The Democrats came away from this debate thinking they won the battle, but in fact, they've come even closer to losing the war.
P.S. The offical count so far is Biden interupted Ryan 82 times.

Yes, there were interruptions on both sides as well in the first Presidential debate. But the way Biden acted with silly faces, smiling and laughter I think was a complete disrespect to the American people whether you are Rep or Dem. The country is in disarray does he think its a joke.

Did I hear correctly? Last night, I heard VP Biden assert "Obamacare makes medicare solvent to 2024". Did he mean 2124? That's 12 years from now and based on likely rosey projections.
Why didn't Obamacare focus more on controlling costs vs insurance reforms? That is, malpractice reforms (reduce costly defensive medicine), consumer incentive for everyone, a ban on cost shifting (medicare/medicaid only pay 80% of COST so hospitals need to transfer the 20% cost to private insurers - Maryland banned this?). Healthcare is 18% of our economy and impacts 100%. Looking back, was it handled properly or rammed through sloppily.
I also heard Biden mention they would control health care costs by taking costs out of the systems by negotiation drug prices, extract cost from hospitals, etc.
Just like Romney/Ryan have been clear about what deductions they'd eliminate to pay for a reduced tax rate, Obama/Biden haven't explained where these trillions in "savings" come from.
Obama has previously "suggested giving the government power to directly negotiate drug prices and allowing medicines to be imported from abroad would be ways to lower prices."

Cutting the profit margins in health industry would save money. But raises question: Should I start selling my pharma and biotech stocks?
Serious investor question.

Biden lost because of his smug attitude and general incompetence. I cannot understand how someone who was thrown out of the Presidential race and almost from college because of PLAGIARISM is taken seriously by ANYONE.
It's a question of CHARACTER -- Biden is known and caught LIAR. There is no dispute over that. It wasn't something that happened overnight, either. He was a LIAR going back to his college days -- so we know what his real character is like.
Now...let's talk about what an idiot he looked like with his whitened capped teeth! He looked like MR. ED the horse from the 60s comedy...and who is he fooling with those HAIR PLUGS???
Compared next to the incredibly fit and young Mr. Ryan, Biden looked like some crabby snow bird who was caught in a telling a line of BS.

Can you say Kennedy? Not only taken serious (if that's actually what it was) but sainted, as well.

BobBee - Agreed. And I couldn't believe the moderator didn't slam Biden for reducing the troops for political reasons during the fighting season leaving our troops on the ground exposed. Biden said the "Joint Chiefs agreed with President". These are the old guys who now seat around a nice oak table in plush chairs at the pleasure of the President sitting next to them. She said the commanders on the ground disagrees, but Biden shockingly brushed that aside.
That said, I think time to bring them all home and use drones going forward.
