I looked at the curent plan which looks diferent from yesterday's. Previous plan showed the actual dates. Now the plan has day 1 ,2,3. Does any body know what this means? What is day 1?. Can't get hold of anyone in PSE&G. Don't even want to waste time trying to talk to someome in the Township emergency coordination. They are unhelpful and simply rude.

If you expect a properly planned and coordinated emergency response from the township you have undue expectations. None is about what I'd expect. So i won't be surprised anyone answering the phone to feel like being bothered and being defensive, because they do not have an answer for your questions or demands whichever the case may be.

I am just being realistic. The East Brunswick police is patroling the neighborhood as it does regularly using the patrol car. This has been proven very effective whether it is during normal times or in a unusual situation such as this. It is unrealistic and unreasonable to ask a police office to station at a fixed location paritcularly in a neighborhood known to be very safe just because there is no power. There are many more housholds in the same situation not having power as yours. You want the office to stand there or sit there in his patrol car all night while he can be much more effective covering many other locations in town. Think about your request. How many police officers do we have in town? Are you being reasonable?

think this is more about traffic safety...there's a stop sign for fern turning onto cranbury but cars are treating it like a 4-way stop and its very confusing, especially when cranbury is a 50mph road over there. all you have to do is put someone there to direct traffic during rush hours. no one is asking for 24-hr patrol.

Mr. Chen, I agree, however the EBPD has had two officers stationed just before the intersection of Ryders Lane and Dunhams Corner Road for at least 48 hours following the storm. As I understand there was a downed power line there, however the utility of two officers in two cars covering one downed line is questionable considering the extent of damage in town.
