FRIDAY and SATURDAY The Haunted Asylum: The Haunted Asylum at the Middlesex County Fair Grounds is running every Friday and Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m. until Oct. 29. The Haunted Asylum is not for the weak of heart, with chainsaws, coffins, dummies that look like corpses, guts and the usual helping of disturbing mayhem planned. The Frost Elementary School is holding a giant yard sale at the school, 65 Frost Ave, East Brunswick, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Money raised through the sale of tables will be used to subsidize cultural arts events and to purchase new technology for the school. 2. 1. Start your day early and visit the Raritan valley YMCA Saturday, at 9 a.m. for Saturday AM @ the Y. Crafts, sports, fitness and games will keep your kids busy while you run errands, do chores or just relax. The programs are open to infants  to 13-year-olds and kids will be supervised by staff.  Looking for something to this weekend? Check out these five can’t miss suggestions. Head over to Playhouse 22 tonight, Saturday and Sunday for "As Bees in Honey Down," at the Township Cultural Arts Center. Actors will be performing on stage in an in-the-round setting, surrounded by audience members. The performance is part of the company's Black Box series and is sure to bring a new perspective to theatergoers. The show will run from Jan. 7 to Jan. 16. 1.    Celebrate Diversity and the history of East Brunswick by visiting two exhibits this weekend at the East Brunswick Museum. Life Around East Brunswick includes an exhibit of artifacts and scenes of everyday life. From household items, to pottery, you'll be able to see what life was like in East Brunswick more than 100 years ago. A second exhibit, Celebrating Our Diversity, includes a an artificial tree and museum display cases filled with items that represent various township organizations and their "culture."
