The Middlesex County Retired Educators Association (MCREA) is celebrating their fiftieth anniversary on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the East Brunswick Chateau, 678 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ from 10 AM through 4 PM. There are over 1600 members of this organization. A Parade of Presidents will begin the meeting portion followed by some celebratory remarks, et al. The quarterly meeting/Installation of Officers/awarding of scholarships to three Class of 2012 high school students ($1,000.00 each) will begin at 11 AM. Lunch will be served promptly at 12:30 PM followed by dancing and singing featuring the Somers and Steel Duo. This special celebration event will have many surprises for all who attend. Numerous legislators and NEA/NJEA/MCEA elected officers have accepted our invitation to attend this Gala. Cost is $22 for MCREA members. All reservations must be made by May 20, 2012.
