Cool Rainy Weather, Minimum Wage Forum Wednesday

Wednesday will bring wet and chilly weather to East Brunswick.

So long 60's, hello 50's as fall weather will take a turn for the worse on Wednesday.

Break out your umbrellas as it looks to be a wet one as we hit the middle of the week. Elsewhere in town, the VFW will host a discussion on the ramifications on raising the minimum wage in New Jersey.

Here's what else you need to know today.

1. Today's forecast calls for rain showers in the morning becoming intermittent in the afternoon with a high of 54 degrees. Temperatures will drop down to the 30's overnight as the rain subsides with partly cloudy skies.

2. VFW 133 will host a Community Forum on Raising the Minimum Wage tonight at 85 Cranbury Road in East Brunswick behind University Radiology at 6 p.m. The discussion will include how raising the minimum wage and earned sick days for all workers impact you, your family, and your community. Learn more about the issue, share your story and ask questions. Snacks will be served.
