Possible Thunderstorms on the Way, World Goes 'Round at Playhouse 22

Goings on Friday in East Brunswick.

We'll have another gorgeous fall day to welcome in the weekend, but some isolated thunderstorms could sweep through the area.

Elsewhere, Playhouse 22 will present another showing of the musical revue The World Goes 'Round, showcasing the songs of John Kander and Fred Ebb. 

Here's what you need to know Friday in East Brunswick.

1. Today's forecast calls for a mix of sun and clouds with a high of 82 degrees. There's a 30 percent chance of rain with a slight chance of thunderstorms during the afternoon. Temperatures will drop to the low 60's overnight.

2. Playhouse 22, located at 721 Cranbury Road, will present The World Goes 'Round tonight at 8 p.m. The show presents songs from Chicago, Cabaret and Funny Lady. Performances are Oct. 4 and Oct. 5 at 8 p.m., and Oct. 6 at 3 p.m. Tickets are available at www.Playhouse22.org by phone at 732-254-3939 or at the box office window.
