Sunny Skies, World Kindness Day on Wednesday

What you need to know for Wednesday in East Brunswick.

After Tuesday's brief winter blast for the morning commute, the sun looks to return as we head into hump day.

Elsewhere in town, it's the perfect day to commit random acts of kindness with the arrival of World Kindness Day. Here's what else you need to know on Wednesday.

1. Today's forecast calls for sunny skies with a high of 41 degrees. The arctic chill will return overnight as temperatures dip into the mid-20's.

2. World Kindness Day came from a series of conferences in Japan in the late 1990's by a group known as the World Kindness Movement, according to Holiday Insights. The conferences were prompted by groups who sought to promote more kindness around the world. The day encourages people to be kind to others while creating a better world.
