The Week Ahead in East Brunswick: Turnpike Hearing, Discount Days at Crystal Springs

1. Township officials have scheduled a community meeting for 7 p.m. tonight, Monday, Aug. 19 at the Community Arts Center for residents to give feedback to the Turnpike Authority over the current project at Turnpike Exit 9.

2. Jersey Physical Therapy will host a free shoulder injury prevention seminar at 7 p.m. tonight, Monday, Aug. 19, at their clinic, located at 180 Tices Lane.

3. There are two discount days at Crystal Springs this week: On Tuesday, Aug. 20, everyone who visits the park will be admitted at the after 3 p.m. rate, according to the Crystal Springs website.

On Thursday, Aug. 22, Grandparents Day will admit the grandparents of members for free. Grandparents in families without memberships will be admitted for $5, according to Crystal Springs.

4. The East Brunswick Board of Education will meet at 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 at the district administration building.
