Good morning, East Brunswick! It's Thursday already, do you have your weekend plans in order yet? Here's a list of some things happening around town today, Aug. 8.

1. The county fair is in full swing out on Cranbury Road. The fair is open from 5-11 p.m. today, and features the 4-H Cloverbud Graduation at 7:30 p.m., clog dancing from Rhythm in Motion Cloggers at 6 p.m. and a performance by the Ridgemont High Band at 8 p.m. More information is available here.

2. Local chiropractor Dr. Ken Freedman will host "Purify Your Body, Transform Your Life" at 7 p.m. tonight at the East Brunswick Public Library. Admission is free.

3. South Asian Mental Health Awareness of Jersey asks anyone who wishes to attend their Aug. 18 health fair to register by Aug. 10, according to a post in the East Brunswick Sentinel.

The fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 18 at Bicentennial Park, Grove B, 176 Hardenburg Lane, East Brunswick.

4. East Brunswick is beginning franchise agreement talks with Cablevision, and asks residents to fill out a survey about EBTV to aid them in the process. Click here for more information.
