Celebrate Negro League Baseball with Pitcher Bob Scott

Scholar Lawrence Hogan examines in depth the rich relationships that comprised “Blackball” during America’s era of segregation at the East Brunswick Public Library on Thursday, Oct. 3, at 7 p.m. The presentation includes exhibit materials and documentary video clips. A question-and-answer period follows.

Don’t miss the rare opportunity to hear pitcher Bob Scott, a veteran of the Negro Baseball League, talk about his experiences in this historic league.

This program was made possible by a grant from the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Any views, findings, conclusions or recommendations in this presentation do not necessarily represent those of the National Endowment for the Humanities or the New Jersey Council for the Humanities.
