Antique Radios on Display at the Library

Take a mini tour of the history of radios.

Help the East Brunswick Public Library Celebrate New Jersey by visiting its latest display, “Inventions of NJ: Radio” courtesy of the New Jersey Antique Radio Club and InfoAge.

On display all month, the exhibit will take you through a visual tour of the history of Radio, beginning in the 1920s (or “the wild west” of radio as it’s also known) all the way up to the modern era, which began when the transistor was invented at Bell Labs in Murray Hill, N.J. Take a peek at an old Marlodyne 3-dialer from the 1920s, and see how it evolved over time. There is plenty to see in this great presentation.
