Boy Scout Food Drive Pick-Up Today

If you received a bag asking for donations, leave it outside your home for pick up this weekend.

Boy Scout Troop 132, East Brunswick, is holding its annual Scouting for Food program, benefitting the Middlesex County Emergency Food Distribution Network.

Bags were placed on the doors of many homes last weekend and will be picked up on Sunday, Nov. 6.

The troop also is participating in the township's Program by adopting two needy families. The adopt-a-family program asks residents or groups to provide food and gifts for at least one family on the township list of those in need. To adopt a family or for more information, please call Karen Kecskes, Supervisor of Community Services for the East Brunswick Division of Recreation & Community Services, Monday-Friday at 732-390-6797 or email karen.kecskes@eastbrunswick.org. All adoptions are kept confidential.
