Celebrate the Lunar New Year at the Library

Sunday promises to be a great afternoon of food and fun.

Celebrate the Lunar New Year at the East Brunswick Public Library on Sunday, Feb. 17, from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

Those who attend can expect an afternoon of great entertainment, from Chinese folk dance to k-pop and from martial arts to Chinese yo-yo. Children can participate in the grand finale, featuring a “dragon dance” and “firecrackers.” Refreshments will be served and there will be hands-on crafts activities for kids. Come and celebrate the new year—and our diverse community— with activities and fun for the whole family! This free event is part of the Library’s Celebrate New Jersey series of programming and is sponsored by The East Brunswick Human Relations Council, the EBHS Asian Club, the Mid Jersey Chinese School, Hua Xia Chinese School and The Library.

For more information on this event call 732-390-6767 or go to The Library’s website at http://www.ebpl.org and click on “News & Events.”
