Celebrate the Year of the Snake

The Library is celebrating the Lunar New Year with games, music, and a whole lot more.

Celebrate the Lunar New Year with dance, music, snacks and more on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 2 p.m. at the East Brunswick Public Library.

It is the Year of the Snake and the library is celebrating with an afternoon of entertainment. From Chinese folk dance to k-pop and from martial arts to Chinese yo-yo, there will be plenty to do. Children can participate in the grand finale, featuring a “dragon dance” and “firecrakers.” Refreshments will be served and there will be hands-on crafts activities for kids. Come and celebrate the New Year—and our diverse community— with activities and fun for the whole family! This free event is sponsored by The East Brunswick Human Relations Council, the EBHS Asian Club, the Mid Jersey Chinese School, Hua Xia Chinese School and The Library
