Chabad Celebrates Purim, Mexican Style
The East Brunswick Chabad held a Mexican-themed Purim celebration.
The continued its exciting and innovative holiday programming with this year's Purim Mexican Fiesta, held Wednesday March 7, at the Riva Avenue firehouse.
More than 150 people joined the holiday festivities, which included a Mexican Mariachi Band, Mexican delicacies, Maraca painting and personalized rice-jewelry making for the children. Families came dressed in their Purim costumes, joined in the fun and excitement of the evening, full of food, drink, crafts and music.
