Community Development Block Grants Available

Applications can be submitted through Feb. 22.

Community organizations in East Brunswick are invited to submit applications for Community Development Block Grants.

According to Linda Rubenstein, Housing Specialist for the township Department of Planning and Engineering, the federally-funded grants are awarded to organizations that operate programs meant to benefit low-income, under served and elderly individuals.

Previous recipients have used the funds for ADA improvements to buildings, to fund repairs to group homes and to stock local food pantries, Rubenstein said.
