Proceeds to benefit the East Brunswick Rescue Squad.

One of the township's longest running traditions will make its return in mid-October.

East Brunswick Township and the Raritan Valley Road Runners are teaming up for the upcoming 36th Annual East Brunswick Road Races, which will include the Kids Pumpkin Dash, a 1-Mile Fun Run, a 5K and a 10K road race.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the East Brunswick Rescue Squad.  The rescue squad is 100 percent volunteer and relies solely on the generosity of donors. Last year, the Rescue Squad responded to more than 2,000 911 calls for emergency assistance.
