Fine Arts Festival Seeks Submissions

The 11th Annual Fine Arts Festival and Farmers Market will be held in June.

The Township of East Brunswick and the Fine Arts Festival Committee will sponsor the 11th Annual Fine Arts Festival – an outdoor juried show of
fine arts and fine handmade crafts – on Saturday, June 8, 2013 (rain date June 9) from 10 a.m.to 4 p.m. around the pond at the East Brunswick Municipal Complex on Ryders Lane.

The daylong event is planned to provide artists with a venue to exhibit their work, demonstrate their talents, and offer original art and craft items for sale, as well as serve as a focal point for a family outing. To reserve space for the Fine Arts Festival call call (732) 390-6797 for a Show Prospectus or online at www.eastbrunswick.org. There is room for 90.

The registration deadline is May 3.

Held in a 17-acre park setting with walkways, park benches, and trees surrounding a quiet pond, this well-publicized event has attracted more than 400 artists from New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania over the last ten years. Original work in oil/acrylic; watercolor; photography; sculpture; graphics/drawings/pastels; mixed media; and fine hand crafts including pottery, jewelry and accessories, clothing, weaving, mosaics, ceramics, turned wood sculpture, woodcrafts, and florals have been represented.
