Garage Sales, EBJC Anniverary, a Charity Poker Ride and More

Five things you need to know about this weekend.

1. The is holding a giant yard sale at the school, 65 Frost Ave, East Brunswick, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Money raised through the sale of tables will be used to subsidize cultural arts events and to purchase new technology for the school.

2. Also today, visit Memorial Elementary School, 80 David St., South River, for more bargains, with proceeds also going to subsidize school supplies and events. The sale is open until 2 p.m.

3. Help the : , celebrate it's 54 Anniversary tonight with a party at 9:30 p.m. tonight. Star comedians, catered affair, cash bar, DJ and more! Tickets are $77 per person, $154 per couple. EBJC is at 511 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick, N.J. Call 732-257-7070 or visit www.ebjc.org

5. Help raise money for the Children's Organ Association and help Kayleigh Peterson. Sign up for a 75 mile Poker Run that begins at 9 a.m. at VFW Post 133 and ends at the Elks Lodge No. 2370 near Farrington Lake. Registration is $20 per person. First 100 pre-registerd get a ride pin. Lunch will be sponsored by FAMOUS DAVE'S. Also on hand will be Vendors and a 50/50. Enjoy live music by  TnT, Tony Psi, Paul Falcone, Tommy Aboussleman, RJ Scott and Rick Lewis. All proceeds to benefit COTA for Kayleigh P. Walk-In welcome for food and music - $20 Donation. For more information visit www.cotaforkayleighp.com.
