Get Out: Plays, Jazz and Elmo

Friday

Oscar Wilde’s , 8 p.m., Rider Theatre at , 2083 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrence Township. Tickets: $20 adults and $10 students/seniors. Reduced admission of $10 adults and $5 students/seniors (general admission) available only at the door.

Classic Instrumental Jazz, 7-9 p.m., , , 17 N Main St, Cranbury. Enjoy jazz music played by Doug Miller, a student of the late Norman Schell, and by Bernard Geiger, a large talent on the upright bass.

Saturday

, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., , 144 Tices Lane, East Brunswick. Drop children from ages infant to 13 years off for fun supervised activities run by professional YMCA staff. Program is free to all members and only $10 per child for non members. There will be crafts, sports, fitness and games.

Saturday and Sunday

Bunny Chase, 1-3:30 p.m., Terhune Orchards, 330 Cold Soil Road, Princeton. Find a spring surprise using Terhune Orchard’s treasure hunt clues. Children can make a bunny to take home, while all guests can enjoy a bunny cookie. Weather permitting; call for more information: (609) 924-2310.

Sunday

Self-guided museum tour for families, 1-5 p.m., Princeton University Art Museum. The tour is designed to help families interact with art in a meaningful way. Pick up an activity packet at the information desk.

Friday through Sunday

Visit with Elmo and Friends at the State Theater of New Jersey. Join Elmo, Big Bird, Zoe, Telly and friends for a Sesame Street Adventure all weekend.  When Elmo’s sunflower, Sunny, outgrows his flower pot, Big Bird’s garden seems to be the perfect place for Sunny to flourish. An excited Abby Cadabby, Sesame Street’s fairy-in-training, casts a spell to make Sunny grow faster. The spell does just the opposite and, instead of growing, Elmo and his friends shrink. Performances will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, and Saturday, 7 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
