Locals Enroll at Colgate

Two EBHS gradates are attending Colgate this year.

Colgate University welcomed the following local students to Colgate University as members of the Class of 2016:

Corey Bret Schiffres a graduate of East Brunswick High School.

Tyler Marie Whigham a graduate of East Brunswick High School.

The class, selected from an applicant pool of almost 7,800 students from 50 states, 127 countries, and the District of Columbia, is one of the strongest and most diverse in Colgate's history.

Colgate University is a highly selective liberal arts institution distinguished by the dedication of its 272 full-time faculty-scholars, and its commitment to undergraduate research, off-campus study programs, and residential education. Colgate offers 52 majors to a diverse student body of 2,900 undergraduate students, and supports 25 Division I athletic teams. The university's 515-acre campus in rural central New York is renowned for its beauty and for the important role it plays in the student experience.
