Memorial Day Weekend Jersey Shore Party Guide

The time of year when everything seems to come back to life is here: Memorial Day weekend. Hit up these popular spots for your induction-to-summer celebration!

Jenk’s Club, 300 Ocean Ave, Point Pleasant-

The premiere nightclub at the Jersey Shore, Jenk’s has top notch live entertainment, can’t-beat drink specials, and high energy dance parties.

  • Friday: WPLJ Summer Blast Off with 3 Doors Down and Michael Franti and Spearhead. Party kicks off at 6 a.m. At night Lifespeed will be playing all your favorite party hits. $2.50 Coors Lights until midnight.
  • Saturday: No Standards at 2 p.m., The Nerds and DJ Unique starting at 9 p.m. No cover until 10p.m., $3.00 Bud Light 10 oz aluminum cans.
  • Sunday: Flying Mueller Brothers at 2 p.m. with a guest host appearance by Lil Cee of 92.3 Now.

Martell’s Tiki Bar, Boardwalk, Point Pleasant Beach- Martell’s is the epitome of a beach bar--with their tiki huts, island music, and Caribbean inspired drinks. You can find local entertainment here nightly in the summer, and on the weekends in the off-season.

  • Friday: Live music with Mike Dalton Trio begins early at 2:00 p.m.; New Power Soul late night at 9 p.m.
  • Saturday: Live music with Dr. Cheeko at 1:00 p.m.; Drop Dead Sexy at 9 p.m.
  • Sunday: Dr. Cheeko at 12:30 p.m.; DJ Tempo at 6 p.m.; 3AM at 8 p.m.
  • Memorial Day: Dr. Cheeko at 1 p.m.; Johnny Drama at 7 p.m.

Beachcomber, 100 Ocean Terrace, Seaside Heights

A popular spot among the late night partiers, Beachcomber has nightly drink specials and the best cover bands on the shore.

  • Saturday: Steve Brown at 10 p.m.
  • Sunday: Frankie and the Burn at 4 p.m.(also performing on Memorial Day); Shorty Long and the Jersey Horns at 10 p.m.

Hemingway’s Cafe, 612 Blvd, Seaside Heights

Hemingway’s is a covering-all-the-bases type of place, offering a bustling dinner scene, nightly entertainment, and a relaxing location near the beach.

  • Friday: Happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. with $2.00 drafts, $7.00 martinis, and $5 wines. At 10 p.m. DJ Milky Mike will be spinning, no cover charge.
  • Saturday: The Hottest Dance Party Down the Shore with music by DJ BTK & DJ Teo. No cover before 11 p.m.

McIntyre’s Pub, 213 Route 37 East, Toms River

McIntyre’s brings you “one hundred thousand welcomes” with a friendly pub atmosphere, live music, and great beer.

  • Friday: Matt Noffsinger Band performs live. Drink specials include $3 Heineken Lights.
  • Saturday: UFC 130 live on pay-per-view at 9 p.m. and live music with Katfish Lucy at 10 p.m. $2.50 Bud Lights.

Sawmill, 1807 Boardwalk, Seaside Heights

As a boardwalk bar, Sawmill attracts crowds of tourists and locals alike. A great spot to stop in for a beer after a hot day.

  • Friday: DJ Chrystian Tyler at 8:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: Triple Threat at 8:30 p.m.
  • Sunday: DJ Doctor Feelgood at 8:30 p.m.

Memorial Day drink specials all weekend: $2 Sols, $3 Sangria, $4 Margaritas, $3 16oz Miller Lite aluminum bottles, $2 Miller Lite drafts, and $5 Karma shots and martinis.
