Space Shuttle Soars Over New Jersey

Check out these images of the space shuttle as it passes over New Jersey

As the Space Shuttle Enterprise on Friday flew over parts of New Jersey and New York City piggybacking atop a modified jumbo jet before landing at its temporary home, Kennedy Airport, Wall photographer Mike Black was able to snap these photos of the historic event.

It is a shame such a wondrous program has now ended. What will happen next? Russians, Chinese, or Indians landing on the moon? We lost the lead of the space race then and it still looks like we are walking backwards...
