Town Plans Memorial Day Celebration

Winners of the Mayor's Essay and Poster contest to be special guests.

Memorial Day is just a few days away, and East Brunswick has a full afternoon planned to celebrate the occasion.

The day will begin on Sunday, May 29, at 1 p.m., at Veterans Park at the East Brunswick Municipal Complex with a flag raising. That will be followed by a presentation of wreaths, a mini concert and a Hometown Heroes Roll Call.

Also on hand will be the winners of this year’s Mayor’s Essay and Poster Contests. Winners of the poster contest will have their creations on display and essay winners will be speakers at the observance ceremony.
