Catskill Puppet Theatre performed Sunday at the East Brunswick Public Library as part of the Phyllis Noar Puppetry Festival.
Children of all ages had a great time Sunday when the Catskill Puppet Theater performed at the East Brunswick Public Library as part of the Phyllis Noar Puppetry Festival. Those who attended got to hear the tale of Sister Rain and Brother Sun.
This musical nature-tale featured lots of audience participation and Brother Sun, a huge, talking sun face seven feet in diameter with movable mouth and eyes! Also visiting was Mother Nature, a grizzled old wise-woman covered with vines, Farmer McGreedy, a crafty old hillbilly, Little Bear and the beautiful, glistening Sister Rain.
