Volunteers Sought to Assist with ESL and Citizenship Programs

Jewish Family and Vocational Service of Middlesex County seeks volunteers to teach English to non-native speakers and teach classes for those preparing to take the citizenship test.

Jewish Family and Vocational Service (JFVS) of Middlesex County has immediate opportunities for volunteers to teach and tutor civics-focused English as A Second Language and conduct citizenship interview preparation classes at the Long Branch Library. Volunteers will receive training and the satisfaction of making a significant difference in the lives of new Americans.

JFVS is dedicated to helping new Americans in their journey to become active, productive participants in their new country.  JFVS’ Immigration and Refugee Services Department is recognized by the Board of Immigration Appeals to represent clients before the US Department of Homeland Security.

For additional information please contact Joanne Bartosik, Volunteer Coordinator at (732) 777-1940 or email joanneb@jfvs.org.
