EBTV to Televise Children's Theater Productions

Watch some of East Brunswick's finest - and youngest - talent on EBTV.

Some of East Brunswick’s  finest and youngest actors will be taking to the stage this summer, and you can enjoy all the shows from the comfort of your own home. EBTV will once again televise Children’s Summer Theatre productions, with each show being shown several times. In addition, a Sunday marathon is scheduled for Aug. 14, during which there will be a wall-to-wall marathon, with every performance shown in its entirety. Residents may buy a DVD copy of the performances for $10. Videos also can be watched “On Demand” at www.ebtv3.org. For more information call 732-390-6780.

The performances will be televised on EBTV Comcast Channel 3, and FiOS Channel 37 as follows:  “The Plight of Princess Penelope,” Thursday, July 7, at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, July 10, at 4 p.m.;  “Talent Town USA,” Tuesday, July 12, at 2 p.m.; Thursday, July 14, at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, July 17, at 4 p.m.; “Sinbad,” Tuesday, July 19, at 2 p.m.; Thursday, July 21, at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, July 24, at 4 p.m.; “Snow White,” Tuesday, July 26, at 2 p.m.; Thursday, July 28, at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, July 31, at 4 p.m.; and “Pearl of the Firegod,” Tuesday, Aug. 2, at 2 p.m.; Thursday, Aug. 4, at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 7, at 4 p.m.

Marathon performances will run as follows: Sunday, Aug. 14, “The Plight of Princess Penelope,” 1 p.m.; “Talent Town,” 2 p.m.; “Sinbad,” 3 p.m.; “Snow White,” 4 p.m.; and “Pearl of the Firegod,” 5 p.m.
