Cultivating Social Change Thorugh Dance

Come to the first in a series that highlights issues that cultivate social change during presentation on Indian classical dance. Visit with Ramya Ramnarayanan on Thursday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m. at the East Brunswick Public Library for a lecture and demonstration on this wonderful dance.


Learn how traditional Indian Classical dances inspires social change in areas such as inclusiveness, opportunity and cross-cultural understanding. This free event is sponsored by the New Jersey council for the Humanities.
This is the first in a series of three programs that looks at activities that cultivate social change. The next event, Cultivating Social change Through Movies, is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m.
