Flo’s 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off
It's chili cook-off time at Flo’s 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off at the legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park. This benefit is being held to honor Flo Tempalski who passed away from a Glioblastoma brain tumor in 2007.
The daylong event includes live entertainment, kids tent, an arts & crafts fair, eco-friendly products, local produce, Chinese auction and some of the best chili you will ever find in New Jersey. Setup time for the cook-off begins at 9am with chili sampling starting at noon. Doors open at 11am, and live music begins at 11:30am and runs continuously till 5pm. Chili Award Ceremony at 4:30pm.
All donations and proceeds will benefit the JFK Brain Tumor Center (Edison, NJ) -- a comprehensive program for diagnosis, treatment, and management of brain and spinal tumors -- for the support of education and patient-related services.
