Guys and Dolls at EBHS

The East Brunswick High School Drama Club to Perform the American Musical Classic,Guys and Dolls - The EBHS Drama club will proudly present their spring musical, Guysand Dolls, lyrics and music by Frank Loesser. Set in New York City, this Broadway classicintroduces the colorful characters: Sarah Brown, the up-right but uptight "mission doll," out toreform the evildoers of Times Square; Sky Masterson, the slick, high-rolling gambler who woosSarah on a bet and ends up falling in love; Adelaide, the nightclub performer whose chronic coldis brought on by the fact she's been engaged to the same man for 14 years; and Nathan Detroit,her devoted fiancé, desperate as always to find a spot for his infamous floating crap game.Everything works out in the end, thanks to the twists and turns of the hilarious, fast-paced plotwhich takes us from Times Square to Havana to the sewers of Manhattan, with a bright, brassyimmortal score. The performances, directed by Jeffrey A.
