Gypsy: A Musical Fable

One of the most popular musicals in American history, Gypsy is the ultimate story of an aggressive stage mother. Join Rose, June and Louise in their trip across the United States during the 1920's, when vaudeville was dying and burlesque was born. This is a gripping story of one of the most frightening aspects of show business.

Based on the book by Arthur Laurents with songs by Jule Styne and music by Stephen Sondheim, Gypsy is loosely based on the real life of Gyspy Rose Lee and features songs such as "Small World," "Everything's Coming up Roses", "Some People", "Let Me Entertain You", and "Rose's Turn".

Directed by Gerry Appel with musical direction by Rory Chalcraft and choreography by Nancy Takacs.
