Middlesex County Education Association PRIDE in Public Education Eighth Annual Fair

The Middlesex County Education Association  -- the public school employees of Middlesex County-- are sponsoring the eighth annual PRIDE In Public Education Fair on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the Brunswick Square Mall from 11 AM to 1 PM.  Everything is FREE and FUN.  We will have Radio Disney, face painting, Spin Art, Balloon Animals, Freddy the Fire Truck, MC Blue recycled robot,  a special Reading Corner with a special guest reader, et al.  We are giving away 700 new Scholastic Books (1 for each child in grades K through 5).  There will be ten tables sponsored by RWJUH in New Brunswick monitoring blood pressure, child safety, Child ID Fingerprinting by the Middlesex County Sherriffs Department, Prescription Medication Review, et al.  The American Red Cross, Girl and Boy Scouts, and other entities will be there. We sponsored a poster contest on the Magic of Reading.  The ten winners of the Poster Contest will be there to receive their special prize bags.  The three top winners (chosen at the PRIDE Fair) receive Barnes and Noble gift certificates. Many of the MCEA locals are sponsoring tables with many items such as Nutrition Safety and Internet Safety.  Our dual themes are Safety Awareness and Magic of Reading.    This is a great photo opportunity, so if Patch from East Brunswick and surrounding Middlesex County communities could send out a photographer, it would be wonderful. We have photo release forms for parents and participants to sign.  Join us for some free fun with your families.
