Spring International film festival

The Spring International Film Festival includes a showing of “Owl and the Sparrow,” a 2007 film from Vietnam. Rated PG. This piece focuses on an orphan living on the streets of Saigon who is befriended by a lonely zookeeper and a lovelorn flight attendant. This moving drama explores the meaning of family. Vietnamese-American filmmaker Stephane Gauger wrote, directed and shot this 98-minute film festival favorite. Tuesday, March 8.

Sponsored by the Friends of The Library, the entry will be shown twice, once at 1:30 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m.
