Summer International Film Festival: "Korkoro"

A family of Gypsies searching for work in France are interned when their nomadic lifestyle is outlawed during World War II. Marie-Josee Croze plays Mademoiselle Lundi, the French school teacher who tries to rescue them.

Inspired by true events, this drama was written and directed by Tony Gatlif, a French national of Romany and Algerian descent, and is presented in French and Romany.
