"The Uninvited" is the stage version of the 1944 supernatural-mystery film, with the same name, of a haunted house where a murder may or may have taken place twenty years earlier. The film was one of the first dramatic ghost films ever made and was widely popular among fans and critics alike.

“The Uninvited was the first serious ghost film, unprecedented at the time.  The stage version is as thrilling but in different ways from the original film,” said director Robert Gargiullo. “In a time of productions that rely on spectacle, it is great fun to direct such a wonderful piece of theater that relies so much on the audience’s imagination. I know that it will be entertaining and unnerving to the very last scene.”
