All those who attend the Catskill Puppet Theater’s event will get a chance to meet Mother Nature, Farmer Mcgreedy, Little Bear, and Sister Rain.

Because both of the shows often have sell-out crowds, both shows will offer two show times to catch both performances, said Carol Phillips, youth services manager at the East Brunswick Public Library.

Phillips also asks parents to be mindful of the age range for the showings.

“We try to respect the wishes of the puppeteers so if there are younger children we ask that parents be respectful of the age range because it makes for great shows for children of the intended audience,” she said.

The annual Puppetry Festival, which is sponsored by the East Brunswick Friends of the Library, is in honor of former President of the Friends Phyllis Noar who was a great supporter of the arts and children’s programs.

Tickets are available for $3 at the East Brunswick Public Library Circulation Desk. Both showswill be held at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
