Herbal Medicine at the Library

Learn about herbal medicine during an informative discussion at the East Brunswick Public Library. Join Virginia Ahearn on Thursday, Feb. 16, at 7 p.m., as she discusses a variety of herbs that are used for medicinal purposes and the forms they come in – teas, tinctures, capsules, and oils. Ahearn will discuss how these herbs are traditionally prepared and used and what makes them different from Western medicine. Ahearn has been studying herbal medicine for 20 year and will talk about three to five of her favorite herbs during this informative program.
