House of Cupcakes Looks to April Opening in East Brunswick

The cupcake bakery is currently under construction.

Cupcakes are still on their way to East Brunswick, but they will now be arriving in the spring.

House of Cupcakes, a popular Princeton bakery, is opening a new location in the Summerhill Square shopping plaza on Route 18.

Owner Ruthie Bzdewka said that if all goes well, East Brunswick residents will be noshing on cupcakes by the end of April, as they have just obtained the necessary permits, and construction started last week, she said.

Previously, Bzdewka told Patch that the bakery was hoping to open in March.

The East Brunswick location isn't the only expansion that the bakery is planning. Additional locations are planned in Manhattan and the Bronx.
