Learn to Start and Run a Small Business

Business Resource Center @ The East Brunswick Public Library to Hold business workshop series with SCORE.

Get professional assistance on how to start a small business--or help running the one you already have--during the SCORE StartSMART series at Business Resource Center@The East Brunswick Public Library.

SCORE StartSMART is collaboration between SCORE, Counselors to America’s Small Businesses, and the Business Resource Center and will include five sessions: Start-Up basics on Thursday, April 11; Business Concepts on Thursday, April 25; Marketing Plan on Tuesday, May 7; Financial Projections on Thursday, May 23; and Funding Sources and Next Steps on Thursday, June 6. During the program students will learn how to evaluate their idea, develop a marketing strategy, create a financial plan, and determine funding sources and feasibility.

The series is designed to help people who have a business idea or concept create a business plan and be ready to ask for funding.  The program also is helpful for people already running their own businesses and who want to learn how to improve it and make it more efficient.
