The Library is Here to Help Small Businesses & Job Seekers

The Library's Business Resource Center

Did you know that there's a place right in your own backyard where businesses and individuals can get the help they need to grow and prosper?  That place is the Business Resource Center @ East Brunswick Public Library!

The library identified a unique niche where small businesses and entrepreneurs can turn for the “know-how” on being competitive.  Residents in search of a new career will find a convenient place to learn or fine-tune their personal skills and boost their resume.

A small sample of programs  being offered in 2013 are What Jobs are in Demand (free) on Jan 8 at 10 AM.; a 3-Part Interview Training Series for Job Seekers starting January 8 at 7 PM; a 3-part QuickBook Series starting January 12 at 9:30 AM; What Employers Expect (free) on February 5 at 10 AM  and Introduction to Real Estate Investing on February 21 at 7 PM.  The Business Resource Center even offers personalized research by a librarian for businesses who need to learn more about an industry or job seekers who need to prepare for that anticipated interview by being armed with knowledge about a company.  So get excited and visit us in person or online at www.brc1.org to learn more about our many programs or phone 732-390-6782.

To request research by alibrarian, contact the Information Desk 732-390-6767.
