Dave is not an armchair writer. He has personally experienced all of the adventures he writes about. I have been fortunate to accompany him on a night hike in Helmetta Bog and to a beaver dam and wetlands in East Brunswick and his passion and enthusiasm for all things wild in New Jersey is sure to come through loud and clear in his talk. He has also attended the annual salamander migration in town and our Moth Nights and has written about them in his acclaimed book. In a year of travelling around New Jersey seeking out its wildlife and wild places Dave searched for rattlesnakes and turtles, hiked the highest peaks, slogged through countless bogs and swamps, canoed and kayaked wild rivers and urban marshes, went whale watching and dog sledding and will share many of these experiences with his infectious storytelling. This is an event not to be missed. Dave will also have books available for signing.
