4-H Offers "Parents Night Out" for Valentine's Day

Between the hours of 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Feb. 9, 4-H will host children for activities, a movie screening and cupcake decorating so parents can spend a night out.

Middlesex County 4-H has announced a Valentine's Day event that will host kids so their parents can spend a night out on the town.

From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, “Parents Night Out” for children between the ages 3-11 will be hosted at the 4-H Youth Center, 645 Cranbury Road.

Games and crafts, cupcake decorating and card making and a film screening are scheduled for the event.

Rutgers Cooperative Extension-certified adults and teen volunteers will supervise children, according to a press release from Middlesex County 4-H.

The event is sponsored by the Middlesex County 4-H Teen Ambassadors.

Admission is $5 per hour, per child. Snacks will be provided.

The latest permissible drop-off time is 6:30 p.m.
