Babysitter Charged in Shaking Death of 14-Month-Old

A Toms River babysitter is being held on $250,000 bail with no 10 percent option after being charged with the murder of a 14-month-old child, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said Tuesday.    

A Blackwood man was arrested Wednesday along with his son and daughter as conspirators in a drug ring that distributed multi-kilogram quantities of Colombian cocaine, as well as other narcotics, according to authorities.

Hospital Employee Charged With Sexually Assaulting Patients

An emergency room worker at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro was arrested on Saturday and charged with forcing a female patient to improperly touch him, and in a separate incident, was charged with sexually assaulting a female patient. 

Central Regional High School Graduate Killed In Afghanistan

Marine Cpl. Christopher M. Monahan Jr., 25, was killed on Nov. 26, the Department of Defense announced. Monahan, of Island Heights, died while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
