Celebrate Hanukkah with Chabad of East Brunswick

Come watch as Israeli troops by Lebanon and Hebron, Israel light the Menorah.

Celebrate Hanukkah with the Chabad of East Brunswick this Sunday at the East Brunswick Square Mall near JC Penney.

Beginning at 5:30 p.m., Israeli troops stationed by Lebanon and soldiers in Hebron Israel will launch a simulcast Menorah lighting to celebrate Hanukkah.

Chabad of East Brunswick has arranged to have a joint exercise in liberty by lighting the Menorah at military bases by Lebanon and Hebron.

Children will have the opportunity to have direct conversation with the soldiers, and also can be paired as “pen-pals” with the soldiers. The festivities will include the joint Menorah lighting followed by a lighting here in New Jersey by Mayor David Stahl. There also will be music, crafts, “Latkes” potato pancakes, doughnuts and more.
