Feed the Hungry Next Week Through Annual Food Drive

The recreation and parks department is collecting food to benefit M.C.F.O.O.D.S.

The Township of East Brunswick will hold its 10th Annual Summer Food Drive July 24 - 31. During the summer months, the need for emergency food increases at area food banks and for many families in our own community.

Help us replenish the supply and guarantee that all people in Middlesex County who are in need have access to nutritious food and necessities.  The food collected will be distributed to East Brunswick families in need and to M.C.F.O.O.D.S. – Middlesex County’s Emergency Food Distribution Network.

Items most needed are peanut butter, jelly, brown rice, tuna fish, mac & cheese; canned fruits, vegetables, meats, stews and pastas; paper products; toiletries such as soap, shampoo, and toothpaste; baby supplies including diapers and wipes; canned and packaged goods only, no glass items please.
